Service Limitation:

Alzheimer Society Toronto’s counselling services are provided by Registered Social Workers.
The counsellors provide support, education and referrals to dementia specific and dementia friendly supportive services. Please contact our counselling staff for complete details.

Alzheimer Society Toronto offers an Active Living Program called The Boomers Club which focuses on therapeutic recreation and wellness. In this program, we create informal connections among people who are on the same journey while engaging in a variety of recreational activities including art, games, exercise, music, food, social chats and more. The Boomers Club programming is flexible and can be modified based on the needs and interests of the group participants.

The Alzheimer Society Toronto in partnership with Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities offers the Active Minds Club, an Adult Day Program for people living with Young Onset Dementia. Offered two days per week in-person (Mondays and Fridays) with additional virtual programming options available on Zoom.

In-person programming is held at Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities (SCHC), Unit 2 – 629 Markham Ave, Scarborough, ON.
