A support service that provides supervised programming in a group setting for adults to assist them to achieve and maintain their maximum level of functioning, to prevent premature and inappropriate institutionalization, and to provide respite and information for caregivers.
May include: planned social, recreational and physical activities, meals, and transportation (if required), personal support/attendant care and minor health care service (e.g., monitoring medication).
Usually located in a hospital, senior’s centre or other community location, the service is provided for all or part of a day, or, in a few locations, during the evening. User fees may apply.
Seniors and adults with disabilities living in the community, including those who may have a physical disability, are recovering from debilitating illness, or who suffer from Alzheimers disease or a related cognitive impairment.

$29.00 per day. Includes meals.
Weekdays 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
The Adult Day Program runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Clients can register to attend the program as often as they desire (e.g. all five days or one half day a week).
Our Day Program area is full accessible, including dedicated accessible washrooms. The Day Program operates in a newly renovated space and features a large dining and program area, another separate programming space, a full kitchen and a staff office.
A hot nutritious meal is served at lunch and snacks are provided throughout the day.
Personal care is available for those who require assistance. However, we are unable to accommodate clients who require two-person transfers. Personal caregivers are welcome to assist clients in the program and one of our staff can assist those individuals with providing for greater personal care needs.
