The practice of dietetics is the assessment of nutrition and nutritional conditions and the treatment and prevention of nutrition-related disorders by nutritional means.

Population Served:

Individuals recovering from illness, surgery, frail seniors, physically or mentally disabled, persons with dementia and their caregivers.

Catchment Area:

Toronto including Toronto Islands, former City of York, Borough of East York, southern part of Etobicoke

Cost:

No cost to eligible clients.

Service Limitation:

An assessment is necessary for determining whether clients are eligible for LHIN services.
What you need to receive LHIN services:
– a valid Ontario Health Card
– live in the catchment area
– have a need for the service
– must be unable to go out of home to receive health care service.
