Memory clinics generally offer diagnosis, care and support to clients who are experiencing memory disorders, abnormal behaviours or some kind of dementia. Services vary from organization to organization.
Persons with memory or cognitive problems of any age. People suffering disturbances in cognitive function and behaviour due to brain dysfunction. Problems may include memory loss, speech and language disorders, as well as cognitive deficits associated with psychiatric disorders (e.g., depression).

The Memory Clinic offers comprehensive diagnostic assessment and follow-up of patients. Initial assessments are provided by a geriatric psychiatrist, behavioural neurologist and a nurse clinician. Services provided include assessment and diagnosis, treatment, follow-up and education. In addition, clients may have an opportunity to participate in clinical research.
Services can be provided in different languages with the assistance of St. Michaels Hospital Interpretation services. Clients need to notify office ahead of appointment if assistance is required. The Memory Clinic is also affiliated with the Toronto Dementia Research Alliance.
