The practice of occupational therapy is the assessment of function and adaptive behaviour, and the treatment and prevention of disorders which affect function or adaptive behaviour to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment function in the areas of self care, productivity and leisure.

Population Served:

For clients of the Clinic, including persons with dementia.

Catchment Area:

Lake Ontario to Eglinton, Ossington/Bathurst to the Etobicoke Creek. Seniors living outside the catchment area may be eligible to receive the services – please consult the Elderly Community Health Services Clinic.

Referrals from family physician and ECHS Geriatrician required.
Consultation, assessment and intervention by OT
Interpreters are used when the need is identified.
