The practice of occupational therapy is the assessment of function and adaptive behaviour, and the treatment and prevention of disorders which affect function or adaptive behaviour to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment function in the areas of self care, productivity and leisure.
Population Served:
People of all ages recovering from a hospital stay, surgery or illness, or require support to remain at home.

Service Limitation:
What you need to receive LHIN services:
– a valid Ontario Health Card
– have a need for the service
– unable to go out of home to receive health care service
– needs that cannot be met on an outpatient basis
