Services may include medical care, pain and symptom management, home nurse visitation, case management, counselling, and bereavement services for the patient and members of the family. A hospice may be a freestanding facility, a unit in a hospital or other institution, or a program of a hospital, agency or institution. Programs vary between organizations.

$18.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on caregiver’s experience. Minimum of 3 hours per visit.
