A support service that provides escorted or unescorted transportation to medical appointments, shopping and to various social activities and programs. Services may vary between agencies. Fees may apply.

Population Served:

Seniors, persons with dementia, and disabled adults who are not eligible for Wheel Trans, are unable to use public transportation services and/or require door to door service.
Cannot accommodate individuals who require lifting and are wheelchair bound.

Rides are calculated by distance. Prices for one way include:
Up to 5 km $6.00

Between 5.1 to 10 km $9.50

Between 10.1 to 15 km $14.00

15.1 to 20 km $17.00

20.1 to 25 km $2100

25.1+ $25.00

Financial subsidies are available.

Service Limitation:

One escort for each client can be accommodated without any extra fee.
24 hour cancellation notice is required for all rides.
