A support service that provides escorted or unescorted transportation to medical appointments, shopping and to various social activities and programs. Services may vary between agencies. Fees may apply.
Seniors or adults with a disability (acute or chronic) who:
Find it difficult to use public transportation.
Are unable to use taxis.
Are able to enter/exit our vehicles with limited assistance.
The service is not available to those who require lifting and cannot transfer independently from a wheelchair.
Hwy 401 to Bloor St, Bayview Ave to Bathurst St
Transportation services
Up to 5 km $5.50 each way,
5.1 to 10 km $9.00 each way,
10.1 to 15 km $13.00 each way,
15.1 to 20 km $15.50 each way.
20.1 to 25 km $19.50 each way
over 25 km $23.50 each way
Trips to SPRINT programs start at $3.50 each way.
Services provided mainly for medical-related appointments, subject to availability. Transportation is also available for SPRINT programs, grocery store, bank, hairdresser, and to visit a friend.
Requests must be made one week in advance. Your ride will be confirmed the morning prior to your appointment.
When you call please provide your name, phone number, the time, name, address and phone number of appointment. Please also tell us if you need assistance entering or exiting a vehicle, need an escort, or have a medical condition, e.g. epilepsy.
