Adult day programs
Jewish, Principles of Judiasm guide daily operations while service is provided to clients of all backgrounds.
Daily fee, but subsidies are available for those who qualify.
Through social, recreational and educational activities for older adults, the Day Centre helps provide stimulation and a renewed sense of independence for people who are living at home but may be isolated or lonely. It also offers respite for families.
3 clubs in the Day Centre provide a non-sectarian, structured day program:
The Parkland Club: serves the well elderly and physically frail
The Oceanside Club: serves mildly cognitively impaired elderly
The Samuel Lunenfeld Mountainview Club: serves moderately to severely cognitively impaired elderly.
In partnership with the Brain Health Centre Clinics, we also provide newly expanded services to individuals living in the community with Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) of frontal lobe disturbance.
Programs are non-sectarian but oriented towards Jewish culture.
