Are you concerned about your memory?

  • 65 years of age or older?
  • Has your memory changed significantly over the past year?
  • Have not been given a diagnosis?

You may be eligible to participate in a research study!

What is the Study about?
We are examining the use of a new program to increase the rate of cognitive assessments in the community. We hope that this program can help people receive memory assessments and care sooner.

Who is participating?
We hope to include 1000 adults in the study who are 65 years or older and have started to notice a change in their memory but have not been diagnosed with dementia.

What is involved and how long does it take?
A cognitive assessment and brief history (60 min), with two follow up appointments to set up next steps, if you need clinical care or additional supports.

An eye scan* at a local optometry clinic. There is a 20 minute wait time for eye drops before the scan (about 15 min)

*The eye scan is optional for those who enter the study at the Alzheimer Society of Toronto. Compensation will be provided for optional procedures.*
