Regular visits from a trained volunteer to a senior in their home, hospital or long-term care home to provide companionship and social support. May include shopping or taking a senior out for daily living activities.
Population Served:
Frail elderly, persons with dementia, and caregivers.

Our volunteers can help with seniors who are lonely or who are isolated. Clients and volunteers are matched with someone of similar interests and location is prioritized on client requirements. Volunteers who speak Hebrew, Yiddish, Russian and Hungarian may be available.
