Regular visits from a trained volunteer to a senior in their home, hospital or long-term care home to provide companionship and social support. May include shopping or taking a senior out for daily living activities.

Population Served:

Seniors who are 55+, seniors who are at risk of living alone, those who need assistance in overcoming isolation because of physical/ functional limitations, those with emotional difficulties such as depression, and are socially withdrawn from joining community activities.
