TransCare Community Support Services
Nutritious meals delivered to seniors at their home. Meals are delivered by volunteers or staff who provide seniors with regular social contact and check on their safety. May include hot meals, frozen meals, soup, and dessert. Fees apply.
Masks and Gloves are used by delivery staff
Seniors, disabled adults, chronically ill adults and convalescents.

Meals on Wheels
Chinese, East Indian, West Indian, Greek, Filipino, European, Spanish
Hot Meal – Regular , Chinese: $6.57 per meal (includes entree, soup and dessert)
Frozen Meal Package – 5 Entrees, 5 Soups or Desserts: $33.95 per package
Frozen Meal Package – 7 Entrees: $34.95 per package
Frozen Entree: $5.50 per entree
Frozen Soup/Dessert/Breakfast: $1.85 per item
Hot meals are delivered to the client’s home 6 days a week, excluding statutory holidays. Frozen meals are delivered once a week on Thursdays.Delivery is made between 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Some one must be at home to accept delivery of meals.
Special diets such as gluten-free, no added salt, low fat, low protein, high fibre, diabetic, gastric, renal, minced, pureed, vegetarian can be accommodated.
Choice of regular Canadian style meals and Chinese style meals.
Private Recipe Frozen Meals, you can choose your own menu from an array of main dishes, soups and desserts.
Meals are designed particularly for seniors by a Dietitian.
