The practice of speech – language pathology is the assessment of speech and language functions and the treatment and prevention of speech and language dysfunction or disorders to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment oral motor or communication function.

People of all ages recovering from a hospital stay, surgery or illness, or require support to remain at home.

Service Limitation:
What you need to receive LHIN services:
– a valid Ontario Health Card
– have a need for the service
– unable to go out of home to receive health care service
– needs that cannot be met on an outpatient basis
